Estimated cost per hectare at a planting density of 2500 trees/hectare is:

This is for a standard Forestry Commission style planting.

We do however tailor our tree planting service to specific requirements, for projects where trees are to be given conditions to branch out more, we will plant at 3m spacings rather than the standard 1.8m-2m (trees are planted close and the strongest survive after initial straight upward growth)

The closer the planting the more upward and straight the growth so good for timber and poles; for nature and beauty more room is given to the trees.

When trees are planted in more spaced out themes it is normal to mulch each individual tree to ensure survival.

We expect 95% survival with mulched trees, one year on from the first planting the new wood will be ‘beaten up’ (assessed and dead whips replaced)

We can source pretty much any species hence we will produce a site specific design taking into account many factors, most of all the vision of the landowner!
